I am not a usual or auto complainant. I will normally wait and just be patience till time bomp (this is a dangerous person). I am using 512KB and have upgraded to 1M a month ago but still enjoying the 'bus-ride'-internet speed of Streamyx.
On Friday, i just cannot bear the 'tortoise-move' anymore and called up TMnet where a gentle young guy by the name of Mr Rama ( a cool and soft-spoken guy) attended to me and assisted me to test 3 times and found out the slow speed. He made a report and hence has given me the report no as : 6031367. And the speedometer reads :
Friday, 27/7/07 around 11.00 am

and
Today, 11.43am

The Test Information
The table above shows the download and/or upload throughput between your computer and the server(s) you selected.
These results are rounded off to two decimal places for display. You may find that manually calculating the throughput using the displayed file size and time may not completely match the throughput displayed above.
The size of the file and the time taken to transfer the file is indicated in the second and third column. The throughput is displayed in both kilobytes per second and kilobits per second. Your Streamyx service is described in kilobits per second for example, Streamyx Basic 384k means the download speed is 384 kilobits per second
The throughput results will always be lower than your subscribed speed. The reasons for this are described in the FAQ.
And this is how I find out their SPPEDOMETER
