MELAMINE: Raising agent from China banned, two biscuit manufacturers to recall products
BREAKING NEWS:
PUTRAJAYA ( Oct 16, 2008) : The import of raising agent "ammonium bicarbonate" from China has been banned as the substance was found to contain excessive melamine level.
Health Minister, Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said two biscuit manufactures, Khong Guan
and Khian Guan had been ordered to recall several of their product from the market. |
