Do You Want To Ride The Red Horse?

I am always excited to receive Master Corey Tsang's newsletter. Today he highlighted about RED COLOUR

This is one of the highlights:

The horse is a strong Feng Shui symbol of agressive wealth accumulation as well as authority, status and strength. This Feng Shui animal makes a perfect decor item for career men and women, as well as those who seek more wealth luck.

The Yang Red Horse is a beautiful rendition of our equestrian friend. Depicted in a dominant stance with one hoof in the air and its head bowed down with a fiery red body, this lovely item is made of plaster and is finished off with hand-painted details such as a mint-green saddle and bronze-colored Chinese coins under its hooves. He is placed atop a platform made of plaster with a believable coat of wood-like finish.

This is a lovely display and Feng Shui piece for office spaces. Those who work at home or homemakers with a cottage industry will also gain much from our formidable horse friend!

Therefore, you may tap into this auspicious color for Wealth, Health, Love and prosperity by following my easy Tips. No worries about updating these Tips for 2008, either – I have ensured that these Tips remain evergreen for the years to come!

Shall we begin?

Feng Shui Tips – Yang Red Feng Shui

Let's talk about colors today – in fact, let's zero in on the color red! A lot of people are a little afraid of this in-your-face color because of the simple fact that it catches the attention of others. If you see a lady wearing a red dress, a man driving a red sports car or perhaps something as mundane as a cat with a red collar, your eyes will be naturally drawn to such a vivid display. This proves its psychological potency – it's also a popular color in Feng Shui!

Red has been steeped in Chinese culture for centuries. In symbolism , red is the color of good luck and success, and is used for decoration and wedding attire. Money in Chinese societies is traditionally given in red packets. Even stock market gains in China are typically displayed in red. Red is also called a tremendous Yang color – full of fire, energy and strength. It’s also a surefire protection against bad luck and evil.

Here are simple ways to incorporate this lively color into your home or office to stir up the energy for Wealth luck!

The kitchen is considered the Fire Mouth of the home in Feng Shui, therefore the main location of Wealth as well as Health luck in the home. Because of its nature, you should definitely strengthen its Yang energy with red! Feel free to incorporate this lively color in your kitchen. If you feel hesitant to use such a strong tone, you may still tap into red’s Yang energy by utilizing yellows, oranges and pinks instead.

Doing so will ensure good health and Longevity luck for everyone at home, as well as prosperous Wealth luck for the breadwinners!

A shot of red color to Wealth Feng Shui enhancers is never a bad thing! Provided, of course, that you place your item in the correct location for some good money luck and material prosperity. These enhancers are quite potent, since their symbolism properties are magnified twofold with the color red. For year 2007, the best locations for these enhancers are Southwest and East.

Red Color No-Nos for Feng Shui

Do not, under any circumstances, decorate your bedroom with the color red. This overt Yang color will only do more harm than good – you will not be able to enjoy good restful sleep due to high energy, and your love life will also suffer. Yin energy is always the best policy is sleeping areas, therefore no red duvets, curtains or walls! If you wish to strengthen Romance luck, only use small doses of red such as red tassels and little red Romance enhancer figurines (red lingerie? That’s allowed!).

When it comes to framed artwork or photographs for your home, the sky’s the limit as long as you adhere to a few Feng Shui guidelines to ensure that your home has good energy and balance. For instance, avoid hanging images of erupting volcanoes, hot shooting lava, hissing red snakes or anything of that nature, because overt Yang portrayals will only disrupt the harmony and balance of your home! You may hang framed images with red colors, by all means, but nothing too aggressive.

Though red is an auspicious color for both Feng Shui and Chinese culture, beware when using the color for your letterheads, name cards and such. This is because the Chinese have long believed that writing or printing out one’s name in red denotes to bad luck and wishing ill will upon oneself! Therefore, you can certainly add a dash to your business profile with red, but avoid from using the color for names.

All my blessings for you and loved ones,

Warmest regards,
